Katty Larocque. RP. Hon. BA, MACP.

It’s not easy to reach out for support — but you’ve made it here, and that matters. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for change, you don’t have to navigate it alone. Katty offers a direct, compassionate, and thoughtful approach to therapy, helping you explore the patterns, challenges, and possibilities that shape your life. Katty believes authenticity is essential in therapy—when both therapist and client bring their true selves into the session, it fosters trust, deep exploration, and meaningful progress.

Katty has a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and Psychology, and a Diploma in Mental Health and Addictions. Katty takes an integrated approach to therapy, drawing from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), insight-oriented therapy, solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed modalities to tailor sessions to your unique needs. Katty specializes in psychedelic psychotherapy for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD.

Katty believes therapy should feel like a collaboration — a space where you are deeply seen, heard, and challenged with care. Together, you will work to understand the emotional and intellectual parts of yourself, uncovering blocks that might be getting in the way of the life you want to live. Let's find your way forward.

To support your care, some services are provided under the supervision of Dr. Julie Beaulac, Licensed Psychologist. You will work directly with Katty throughout the process. If needed, we can discuss any insurance requirements before starting sessions. Katty offers direct billing through Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC) and Indigenous Services Canada (NIHB).
